My favorite Norwegian duo Kings of Convenience have left EMI(link). Is there anyone left on EMI? New album out sometime this year.
No New Postal Service
Sadly it looks like there will be no new Postal Service album out any time soon (link). Personally I think there is to much pressure to release an album, pressure for it to be a million times better than the last album. Which is impossible. It's like Barack Obama, we have elevated the man to near god like status that it's impossible to not be disappointed when he wins. I believe that even Ben Gibbard has realized this about the Postal Service. It is better to release a song here and there and leave people wanting more, then to release a full album and have people get disappointed.
