LOS ANGELES, CA August 20, 2007 — NEW FOUND GLORY ranked number one on MySpace’s Top Artist of the Day in the Independent category for the last week, building up to the release of their new album on September 18, From The Screen To Your Stereo Part 2.
NEW FOUND GLORY recently filmed a video for the single “Kiss Me.” Buddies of the band Paramore made a cameo appearance and the video is currently in rotation on FUSE’s Steven’s Untitled Rock Show. The video premiered on MySpace and has received over 300K plays. NEW FOUND GLORY will perform “Kiss Me” on Last Call With Carson Daly airing October 4th.
From The Screen To Your Stereo Part 2 consists of the band’s own take on soundtrack songs from popular movies from the 80's, 90's and 2000's and features guest vocalists from friends of the band including Adam Lazarra from Taking Back Sunday, Chris Carraba from Dashboard Confessional, Will Pugh from Cartel, Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy. Lisa Loeb sings on her own #1 single, “Stay.”
NEW FOUND GLORY will co-headline a nation-wide tour with Senses Fail with special guests on select dates Set Your Goals, Bedlight for Blue Eyes, Dr. Manhattan, and A Cursive Memory beginning October 5th in Las Vegas.
