The Deadly Syndrome Tour, Unveil Video, Make Nice With Pitchfork

Dim Mak indie darlings The Deadly Syndrome are currently making their way across the country, en route to the Big Apple for 2007’s installment of CMJ. After releasing their full-length debut last month to a chorus of praise, and playing this past weekend’s LA Weekly Detour Festival with big guns like Bloc Party and Justice, there’s plenty of anticipation for their upcoming NY gigs (full list of dates below). But you don’t have to take our word for it. Just ask Spin.com, who named them an Artist of the Day last month, or NPR, who recently profiled the band in their All Songs Considered: Open Mic section. Or how about Live Daily, who brought the band into their studios for a set of acoustic performances currently streaming on Ticketmaster’s freshly-launched Facebook page? Or Daytrotter, who vouches for the Syndrome with a hilarious Bookery Session? Or Pitchfork, who gave the record a healthy 7.4 earlier today. And if all that isn’t enough, we’ll let the band win you over on their own with the video for the delightful “Eucalyptus.”
