Luke Temple recently finished work on an upcoming volume of the highly exclusive and prestigious SEVEN INCH PROJECT, which will be released in limited availability on February 26, 2008. According to the Seven Inch Project, it’s “a vinyl record label that releases Limited Edition Collectible 7-inch (45-rpm) records. Next, Luke has announced that he will be recording and releasing a good bit of new material in 2008. According to Luke, “Working with a new band has been really inspiring for me. My plan is to write and record as much as possible in the New Year and having a stable group to collaborate with adds a whole new dimension to that process.” Luke is kicking off the initiative this weekend, laying down new material in a giant and open secret location on Manhattan’s Westside.
Luke will also be crossing the pond to play a few shows in the UK and France in early March. He’ll be back in time for a few sets at this year’s SXSW Music Conference in Austin, TX.
