¡Mayday! Paint a Soundscape for our Digital Urbanity in their Latest Release Technology

¡MAYDAY!
is a five-piece band that has emphatically emerged as one of Miami’s most gifted and versatile genre-dipping hip hop acts. Since securing guest appearances from Cee-lo Green, Devin The Dude and Killa Kela on their 2006 debut album and after garnering groundbreaking coverage from New York Times and ABC World News for their “Groundhog Day” music video, ¡MAYDAY! return with their June 23rd sophomore release Technology.

Loaded with spacey bangers, Technology delivers a barrage of centrifugal force to morph our little indie ears to untold heights of electro-clap, rap futurism. Lush, frank, and ample -Technology is ¡MAYDAY! use organic instruments, twisting them with digital effects and synths, to create an opus to the digital world around us and its weaving in and out of our daily lives. Amidst the adrenaline seeping from each track, ¡MAYDAY!’s is a pastiche of skills, fusing technique and finesse without sacrificing the rawness needed to guide listeners through a splash of modern urbanity.

Expect sore feet from dancing, stinging palms from handclapping, and neck cramps from insatiable head nodding. ¡MAYDAY! specializes in genre-dabbling concoctions that audiophiles, children, bookworms, and terrorists can vibe to.

After performing with a gamut of artists including Daft Punk, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Method Man and Redman, ¡MAYDAY! continues to walk their humble path of touring success with a slew of summer dates and a US tour still to be announced.
