Reading RockSellOut I came across the new band Star. The Chicago locals seem to come from the same school of music as My Bloody Valentine and Jesus and Mary Chain. The Illinois Entertainer described them best as "The melodically dreamy, post-’80s, goth-edged noise generated by this minimalist trio."
