Amplive's Radiohead Remix Album
After a cease & desist put the breaks on Amplive's Radiohead In Rainbows remix project, the online music community reasonably wondered if the tracks would ever see the light of day. Today comes an answer: they most definitely will. While the Oakland producer/DJ acknowledges that he probably should have contacted Radiohead (who were not involved in the project) to seek approval prior to making his interpretations publicly available, an agreement has been reached between all involved parties and Amplive has been granted permission to release Rainydayz Remixes for free to the general public. And guess what -- it's available now. Effective immediately, the eight-track record will be available for download in zip format at the below address:

http://www.onesevensevensixRainydayz Remixes is composed exclusively of source material pulled from In Rainbows, re-envisioned by Amplive and complimented by vocal work from Too $hort, MC Zumbi of Zion I, Chali2na of Jurassic 5, Codany Holiday, and Del The Funky Homosapien. The highly-anticipated Del track, which can be downloaded below, is a hiccupping take on the devastatingly gorgeous, album-closing "Videotape."

Spin releases digital version of February issue
Spin released a digital version of February's issue. I hate these digital magazine editions. Why not just put the content on your website the way the NYTimes does it. That why you benefit from the content with search engines, and its just alot easier then flipping virtual pages. You can keep the same sponsors just have them create web versions of their ads. I hate it but what do you think?
