New Music Video: Estelle "American Boy" featuring Kanye West
It's not to often that I post hip hop/pop but I do love Kanye and British pop. I love this video because Kanye seems to take on a British style of rap in the video

Kanye out sells 50 Cent

"Graduation widely outsold 50 Cent’s Curtis in first week sales, according to Nielsen SoundScan: 957,000 copies to 691,000 copies." (from AP and TheStranger)
What does this mean for you? What does this mean for the music industry?
It means life goes on. We are now $10 to $20 poorer and Kanye West & 50 Cent are atleast twice as rich as they were before this whole competition started.

Kanye West beating out 50 Cent in Album Sales.
From the Associated Press
"50 Cent may be getting hip-hop's equivalent of a gold watch next week. Early reports have Kanye West beating 50 in their much-hyped battle of album sales: West's "Graduation" is on pace to sell about 575,000 to 700,000 its first week out, while 50 Cent's "Curtis" is on track to do 550,000, according to Billboard magazine.
As of day one, Kanye had sold 437,000 copies to 50's 310,000, according to Nielsen Soundscan."
I still have to buy Graduation

50 Cent VS. Kanye West- A Web Popularity Analysis
Tomorrow is the big day for Kanye and 50 Cent. Who is going to outsell the other?
Let's take a look at how they stack up online.
Monthly Uniques: KanyeWest.com VS. 50cent.com
KanyeWest.com - 50Cent.com
Kanye wins but what's more interesting is that in the last 2 months leading up to the release when you would expect traffic to increase, 50cent.com sees a considerable drop in traffic. My theory is that the albums or singles leaked onto the internet around June pushing the buzz for Kanye and killing the buzz for 50 Cent.

Kanye wins everything but the Myspace Friends, but then again who uses Myspace these days. I will be surprised if Kanye doesn't outsell 50 Cent.
