Violent Soho - Son of Sam
Music described as "universe-shaking riffs, primordial drum-thrashing and deliciously mangled vocals," and that seems to be a pretty good description. Take a listen!

Mighty Tiger - “33 1/3”
Patrick and Eugene - Can't Get You out of my Head (Kylie Minogue Cover)
"whimsical, exotic ragtime music." This version of "Can't get you out of my head" is much more folk than the original one. In fact, the original one wasn't folk at all, which makes this a particularly interesting cover.
It's almost what I'd expect if the Cantina band from Star Wars played this song.

Shout Out Louds - Walls
Merge Records is excited to announce that Sweden's Shout Out Louds will be releasing their new record, entitled Work, on February 23, 2010. Work is the band's third album and second for Merge. It was recorded in Seattle and produced by Phil Ek (The Shins, Fleet Foxes, Band of Horses).
Smooth sounding indie rock with enthusiastic vocals. Take a listen!

Passion Pit - Moths Wings (Eric Solomon Remix)
"Vancouver based artist Eric Solomon has recently put together his own interpretation of Passion Pit's "Moths Wings". Eric is a talented musician who writes, plays, programs and mixes all of his own material. He is an accomplished performer on a variety of both analogue and digital instruments. With current influences ranging from Frankmusik to Calvin Harris, Eric's own material and remixes are melodic, yet club friendly."
