"The Shade of the Poison Trees" Album Reviews
3 Mile Scream album stream and new dates with Thine Eyes Bleed
3 MILE SCREAM STREAMS ENTIRE DEBUT ALBUM

Montreal based 3 Mile Scream have streamed the group's debut album, A Prelude To Our Demise, at the following location http://www.altsounds.com
3 Mile Scream's debut album was recorded in Montreal under the watchful eye of producer Jean-Francois Dagenais, guitarist for death metal giants Kataklysm. Sin! ce the album release, 3 Mile Scream has won over many high profile fans including Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe, Unearth’s Trevor Phipps and Arch Enemy’s Michael Amott who described the band as, "Heavy and melodic, great chops."
3 Mile Scream’s A Prelude To Our Demise, was released by independent powerhouse Corporate Punishment Records. The album is a stunning blend of European metal, melody and machine gun drumming that creates a merciless, brutal sound.
The group has recently announced more tour dates in support of their debut album, including an upcoming October 14th date in Belleville, Ontario where the band has been added as direct support for Thine Eyes Bleed.
"Thine Eyes Bleed are one of the best Canadian metal acts on the scene. We are extremely excited and honored to share the stage with a band of such unrelenting aggression," says 3 Mile Scream frontman Matt McGa chy. Free Avenged Sevenfold in Los Angeles 10/20

After 10 years....Hot Rod Circuit is no more
I am both sad and not sad that that Hot Rod Circuit has called it quits. I am sad because of all the great memories I have of HRC of being up front at a show and singing at the top of my lungs to "Irish Car Bomb"......But in a way it's a relief because this band died after the album "Sorry About Tomorrow". It was painful over the years to see the band I once loved put out album after album that sounded nothing like the band I fell in love with in 2000. May the band rest in peace

Seattle's Eric Elbogen, aka Say Hi, is gearing up for the early '08 release of The Wishes And The Glitch, his forthcoming and much-anticipated new full-length on Euphobia records. While his dry sense of humor is never far, gone are the persistent musings about robots and vampires, replaced here instead by a complicated mapping of the post-twenty something psyche, of someone who fell out of love with everything he once held dear and who then musters as much gumption as he can to launch a fresh start. This is an album full of self-examination, and the first that finds him writing introspectively. He's just now back from touring Germany, and is going on a massive Fall US tour with the Velvet Teen and the A-Sides
