What happened to "I Can Make A Mess"? I guess Ace killed that project. I'm still sad that the Early November called it quits but it will be good to see Ace out there touring.
Ace Enders, best known as the lead singer of New Jersey rockers The Early November will unveil his new project, KING FOR QUEENS on tour this fall.
The new group came about when musicians Ashley Dudek, Matt Moffo, Timmy Passarella came to Enders’s studio Pink Space Recording. to record They clicked instantly and decided to collaborate and KING FOR QUEENS was born.
Enders is excited to perform with this new project and “can’t wait for people to hear the new music.” He describes the sound as “good time indie pop” with the biggest difference between The Early November and KING FOR QUEENS being Enders sharing vocals with Dudek. “It’s a nice balance back and forth between male and female vocals that really make the songs come alive,” he says.
KING FOR QUEENS will tour this fall with Steel Train and Socratic. The band will showcase brand new material, songs from Enders’s solo effort I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody’s Business, and songs from The Early November.
Two new songs from KING FOR QUEENS will be available as a free download on Myspace.com/KingsForQueensMusic beginning mid-October. KING FOR QUEENS will release a full-length album early Spring 2008.
KINGS FOR QUEENS is Ace Enders (vocals, guitar), Ashley Dudek (vocals), Matt Moffo (piano), and Timmy Passarella (guitar).
